The Department of Drawing and Painting offers Undergraduate (BFA) and Postgraduate (MFA) programs in Painting, affiliated with Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur. Our department is dedicated to building a vibrant educational environment that seamlessly blends the rich traditions of Indian art with global artistic practices and modern technologies. We aim to provide students with a transformative learning experience that nurtures creative thinking, technical excellence, and professional growth.
At the undergraduate level, we focus on strong academic training in drawing, painting, and foundational visual concepts. The postgraduate program advances professional skills, encourages original artistic expression, and emphasizes research-based studio practice.
